Rev. Heather Lynn Hanson

Our interim minister, The Rev. Heather Lynn Hanson, will be with us through June 2010.  She is helping prepare our congregation for the selection of a new minister.

Lori Fernholz-Hartman

Our Director of Religious Exploration, Lori Fernholz-Hartman, works half-time to plan and implement a wonderful program of religious exploration for our children and youth. Lori has been a member of TUUC since 1999.  She received her bachelors degrees in Elementary Education and Social Relations from Michigan State University. After teaching in Tacoma public schools for 5 years and being a stay-at-home parent for 5 years, she became the Director of Religious Exploration here at TUUC in the fall of 2004.

Susie Maharry

Our Program Coordinator, Susie Maharry, works on a half time schedule to plan, organize, promote, and implement diverse programs that further Adult Spiritual Development (ASD) and fellowship.

Mike Field

Our Administrator, Mike Field, has been with TUUC since April 2002.  He and his wife Patty have lived in Fircrest for 22 years.  They have a son, Kevin, who lives in Seattle.  Mike is a graduate of St. Martin's University in Lacey, Washington.

Lisa Kelley

Our part-time enviro-custodian, Lisa Kelley, keeps our building spic-n-span with earth-friendly cleaning products. She also provides child-care services from time to time.  She and her husband, Loren, are active members, frequently in leadership roles, of our congregation, and their two children participate in our RE programs.

Laura Mill Karlin

In March 2009, we hired Laura Mill Karlin as our part-time Office Assistant. She will edit and publish our monthly newsletter (The Dialog), our Thursday emailed Announcements, and the order-of-service for our Sunday Services, and she will generally assist administrator Mike Field and Rev. Hanson with document production and general office tasks. She resides with her husband in Lakewood; and she has worked for ten years with local religious charities, including Guadalupe House and Nativity House. Her interests include singing, folk dancing, and yoga, among other things.
